5. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Course fees and pricing are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, though changes will not affect orders already placed. Payment is required in full at the time of enrollment unless alternative payment arrangements have been explicitly agreed upon in writing.

We accept payment through major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated on our website. Payment processing is handled by secure third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize us to charge the applicable fees.

STAR-SOL offers a 14-day satisfaction guarantee for most courses. If you are not satisfied with a course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25 percent of the course content. To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your order number and reason for the refund request.

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days and credited to the original payment method. Certain promotional courses, bundled packages, or courses accessed through corporate or institutional licenses may have different refund terms, which will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees imposed by your jurisdiction in connection with your purchase of our services. STAR-SOL is not responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion charges, or other transaction fees imposed by your financial institution.

6. Disclaimers and Educational Nature of Services

STAR-SOL educational services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, STAR-SOL disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We make no warranty that:

  • Our services will meet your specific requirements or expectations
  • Our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The information provided through our services is accurate, reliable, or complete
  • Any defects in our services will be corrected
  • Our servers or content are free of viruses or other harmful components
  • Knowledge gained from our courses will result in employment, business success, or financial gain

Our educational content is intended for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to financial, investment, legal, tax, or business advice. You should not rely on our content as a substitute for professional consultation appropriate to your specific situation.

STAR-SOL does not guarantee any outcomes, results, or performance based on completion of our educational programs. Business success, employment opportunities, and financial results depend on numerous factors beyond our control, including individual effort, market conditions, economic factors, and personal circumstances.

While we strive to keep our educational content current and accurate, digital business and e-commerce are rapidly evolving fields. Information presented in our courses may become outdated, and laws, regulations, and best practices may change. You are responsible for verifying the current applicability of any information before acting upon it.

Some of our courses may include references to third-party tools, software, platforms, or services for educational purposes. Such references do not constitute endorsements, and we are not responsible for the functionality, accuracy, or availability of third-party products or services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, STAR-SOL, its officers, directors, employees, representatives, affiliates, and content providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use our services, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data or information
  • Loss of goodwill or reputation
  • Cost of procurement of substitute services
  • Business interruption or work stoppage
  • Any other commercial damages or losses

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if STAR-SOL has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent permitted by law, STAR-SOL's total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims relating to our services, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the amount you paid to STAR-SOL for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred Canadian Dollars (CAD 100), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

You acknowledge and agree that the disclaimers and limitations of liability set forth in these Terms reflect a reasonable allocation of risk between you and STAR-SOL and are fundamental elements of the basis of the bargain between you and STAR-SOL. Our services would not be provided without these limitations.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless STAR-SOL, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, partners, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

  • Your use or misuse of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your violation of any rights of another party, including intellectual property rights
  • Your violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through our services
  • Any business decisions or actions you take based on knowledge gained from our courses

STAR-SOL reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and in such case, you agree to cooperate with STAR-SOL's defense of such claim.

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination or expiration of these Terms and your use of our services.

9. Third-Party Links and Content

Our website and educational content may contain links to third-party websites, services, tools, or resources that are not owned or controlled by STAR-SOL. These links are provided for your convenience and informational purposes only as part of our educational mission to explain how various digital business systems and platforms operate.

STAR-SOL has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, terms of use, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of information found on third-party sites. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites, products, or services.

When you access third-party websites through links on our site, you do so at your own risk. You should review the terms and policies of any third-party website before using it or providing any information. Your interactions with third-party organizations and individuals found through our services, including payment transactions and delivery of goods or services, are solely between you and such third parties.

Some of our educational content may reference or discuss third-party software, platforms, payment processors, or business tools. Such references are for educational illustration purposes only and do not constitute recommendations or endorsements. We may receive affiliate commissions if you choose to purchase products or services through certain links, which will be clearly disclosed.

STAR-SOL shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any third-party content, goods, or services available through such websites or resources.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in Canada and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, payment information, IP address, device information, and usage data to provide and improve our services.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

You have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data. For complete details about how we handle your personal information, please review our full Privacy Policy available at /privacy/.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. STAR-SOL is a company registered in Poland at 32-432 Pcim, Poland (1426), and our primary legal jurisdiction is Poland within the European Union.

For users residing in Canada, certain provisions of Canadian consumer protection laws may apply and take precedence over conflicting provisions in these terms where required by law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any statutory rights that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Poland. However, for users residing in Canada or the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

By using our services, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of the Polish courts and waive any objection to the exercise of jurisdiction by such courts or to venue in such courts, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected] with a detailed description of the dispute. We will attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation within 30 days of receiving your notice.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation, you agree that the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the arbitration rules of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the seat of arbitration shall be in Poland. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered upon it in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights or confidential information.

For users residing in the European Union or Canada, you may have the right to bring disputes before consumer dispute resolution bodies or courts in your country of residence in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations. Nothing in these terms shall deprive you of such rights where they cannot be lawfully waived.

You agree that any arbitration or legal action shall be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class action, collective action, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration, except where such waiver is prohibited by applicable law.

13. Termination of Services

  • Prolonged inactivity of your account

  • Discontinuation or material modification of our services
  • Technical or security issues

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to access and use our services will immediately cease. You will remain responsible for any fees or charges incurred prior to termination.

In the event of termination for cause due to your violation of these terms, you will not be entitled to a refund of any prepaid fees. In the event of termination by STAR-SOL without cause, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for services not yet rendered, at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately terminate. You must cease all use of our services and, if requested by us, destroy or return all copies of materials obtained from our services.

The following provisions shall survive termination of these Terms: Intellectual Property Rights, Payment Terms, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

14. Changes to Terms and Services

STAR-SOL reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue our services or any portion thereof at any time, with or without notice. We may add new features, remove existing features, or change the pricing of our services. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of our services.

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements. When we make material changes to these terms, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and provide notice through our website or by email to registered users at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of our services after the effective date of revised terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using our services and may be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for services not yet rendered.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. We recommend checking this page each time you access our services to ensure you are aware of the current terms governing your use.
